MS-26 and DMS-4-828 TM, moldable shims are filled
epoxy resin compounds used to shim gaps in metal
or composite assemblies. Originally developed for
use in airframe assemblies, the moldable shims are
now used in a wide variety of equipment alignment
applications as well as land, air and sea applications.
Through a process unique to Dynamold, Inc., the
MS-26 and DMS-4-828 Moldable Shim Material™
can be supplied, in addition to the standard two-part
system, in precatalyzed, frozen sheets of various
thicknesses, with or without Tedlar backing.
These sheets thaw rapidly at room temperature and
may be applied directly to the application without
mixing or other preparation. Significant reductions
in assembly time and labor costs have been achieved
by utilizing MS-26 and DMS-4-828 in this form.
