| A precision
cleaning solvent blend especially good
at removing hydrocarbon soils such as
oils, greases and tars as well as common
shop contaminants, epoxies and sealants.
Originally developed by General Dynamics
(now Lockheed Martin) for use on the
F-16 Fighting Falcon production line
to replace MEK and trichloroethane.
DS-104 has low toxicity and is used
in a number of rocket and missile programs
as well as on the Space Shuttle. It
was found to be the most effective solvent
in removing silicone residues in NASA
tests. EPA SNAP listed. |
|
|
| The flagship of our
patented line of solvents... used and
approved by every large aerospace OEM.
DS-108 is a bio-based solvent blend
and is very effective on a wide range
of soils such including oils, greases,
adhesives, epoxies, sealants, inks dyes
and all common shop contaminants. It
was also developed by General Dynamics
(now Lockheed Martin) and has received
a Toxicity Clearance from the U.S. Army
Surgeon General. DS-108 is used in many
other applications such as electronics
(flux removal), automotive, vinyl window
manufacturing, screen printing, check
printing, firearms cleaning and graffiti
removal, to name just a few. EPA SNAP
listed. |
|
|
| Although DS-108 has
a very mild odor, we have a version
with a bit of lemon-lime fragrance added.
DS-108F meets the same performance standards
as DS-108 and is specified by McDonnell
Douglas (now Boeing) and deHavilland
among others. It is also widely used
in the vinyl window manufacturing and
printing industries. EPA SNAP listed. |
|
|
|
| A derivative of our
DS-108 solvent blend, DS-135 was developed
for handwipe applications where a flashpoint
of 41 deg C is required to meet local
regulations. |
|
|
| For use in applications
where a flashpoint > 140 deg F is
desirable, DS-144 gives you the same
effective cleaning performance as our
other solvents. Its slightly slower
evaporation rate makes it an ideal choice
for ultrasonic cleaners, dip tanks and
parts washers as well as handwipe cleaning.

|
|
| A
low cost, environmentally compliant
solvent blend developed by General Dynamics
(now Lockheed Martin) for cleaning paint
spray guns in its facilities. DS-801
is unusual in that it effectively cleans
water and oil-based paints as well as
high solids, polyurethane coatings.
Some of our customers have found it
to be a low cost alternative for general
cleaning in a variety of applications
where flammability is not a critical
concern. DS-801 is also recyclable when
used in a closed loop system, further
reducing your cost of operations. |
|
|
| A direct replacement
for MIL-C-38736B Cleaning Compound developed
at the request of Lockheed Martin and
the U.S. Air Force for use on the F-16.
H901A meets the performance specifications
of MIL-C-38736B but has a calculated
vapor pressure below 45mm/Hg in compliance
with the Aerospace NESHAP. This is a
fast evaporating, aggressive solvent
blend useful for critical cleaning in
flushing limited access areas as well
as handwipe cleaning prior to bonding
or sealing. |
