Dynamold, Inc. replication materials, DMR-503, DMR-504
and DMI-689, offer fast setting, dimensionally stable
measurement of tooling, mold making dies, gears,
prototype tooling, production parts, surface finish
replications and a number of other applications.
These materials are excellent for measuring wear
on moving parts, production pieces against specification
tolerances, overall quality of machined or plated
surfaces, in conjunction with use of optical comparitors,
and corrosion pitting.
Dynamold, Inc. offers three types of replication
materials to fit every replication need.
DMR-503 Replication Putty is a two-part silicone
elastomer with the consistency of a workable paste
in a one-to-one mix. It is mixed by kneading with
the fingers and is non hazardous. Once mixed, DMR-503
can be pressed onto the object to be replicated
and will cure rapidly at room temperature into a
firm elastomer with a Shore A Durometer of 50, and
a dimensional accuracy of 99.95%. DMR-503 is designed
for applications where a non-liquid replication
material is needed.
DMR-504 Replication Liquid is a two-part low viscosity
elastomer which can be readily mixed by hand or
machine in a one-to-one mix. Once mixed, pour into
desired mold or onto object to be replicated, it
will cure rapidly at room temperature into a firm
elastomer with a Shore A Durometer of 20, and a
dimensional accuracy of 99.80%. DMR-504 is designed
for applications where a liquid replication material
is needed.
DMI-689 Replication Urethane Resin is a two-part
low viscosity urethane resin which can be readily
mixed by hand or machine in a one-to-one mix. Once
mixed, pour into desired mold or onto the object
to be replicated, it will cure rapidly at room temperature
into a hard casting with a Shore D Durometer of
78 +/- 5, and a dimensional accuracy of 99.70%.
DMI-689 is designed for applications where permanent,
hard copy, replications are needed.
